Note: The 2020 camp is currently cancelled per direction from the national GenCyber program. It is possible that we will run a remote camp in late summer, but we will not know if this is an option until mid-June at the earliest.
CyberPDX is a 5-day professional development camp for middle and high school teachers.
We introduce cybersecurity skills, principles, policies, and careers through a curriculum that integrates programming, cryptography, law/policy, literature, and the arts. We are an interdisciplinary program, linking STEM with the Humanities and Social Sciences.
We are open to teachers who work in any and all subject areas! Our interdisciplinary approach seeks to raise interest in cybersecurity and help teachers (and their future students) identify with the diversity of cybersecurity careers available.
While we hosted combination student-teacher camps for 5 years, since 2019, we are a teacher-only program.
