CyberPDX is on for 2020, in a new remote format!.
CyberPDX will run with synchronous 2-hour morning sessions, Monday-Thursday, August 3-13. Campers will participate in aditional asynchronous activities throughout the 2 week period. Total time commitment for both synchronous meetings & asynchronous work is 30 hours. See the schedule page for more information!
CyberPDX is a 5-day professional development camp for middle and high school teachers.
We introduce cybersecurity skills, principles, policies, and careers through a curriculum that integrates programming, cryptography, law/policy, literature, and the arts. We are an interdisciplinary program, linking STEM with the Humanities and Social Sciences.
We are open to teachers who work in any and all subject areas! Our interdisciplinary approach seeks to raise interest in cybersecurity and help teachers (and their future students) identify with the diversity of cybersecurity careers available.
While we hosted combination student-teacher camps for 5 years, since 2019, we are a teacher-only program.
